Jim Currie has an
extensive background and many years experience in the area of
complementary health. He has had the privilege to have been
trained by and to have worked with some of the world’s
leading authorities in natural healthcare systems.
Jim specialises in kinesiology and is a registered professional member
of the Kinesiology Federation of Great Britain. He teaches a variety of
kinesiology systems. He is a ‘Touch for Health’
teacher and the Assessor for Touch for Health for Scotland and the
North East of England. Jim is also a ‘Three in One
Concepts’ Consultant Facilitator and Instructor.
He has a keen interest in all areas of kinesiology and complementary
health, and in his work he addresses health issues relating to
structural imbalance of the body, nutritional support and assistance
with food and environmental sensitivity, as well as the underlying
emotional stresses that can often be a factor in optimal health and
well being.
Jim Currie is very involved with teaching kinesiologists and developing kinesiology
based Colour and Light Therapy Courses and Sound Frequency Healing work.
He is a Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique.
In addition, he has studied with some of the world’s leading
teachers of T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Qi Gong and
traditional Chinese healing for many years and integrates this
knowledge into his work and teaching.
All of the methods and techniques that Jim uses are natural, safe and
gentle and have been assessed to be extremely safe to use, even on
children and babies.
Jim has a wide clientèle including, medical practitioners,
members of Parliament and celebrities from the world of music and film.
In his role as lecturer at Harmony Kinesiology College, Jim has taught
students and kinesiologists from USA and Canada, Europe and the Middle East.
He
is very firmly of the opinion that natural healing methods should not
be seen as an alternative to conventional medicine but rather a
complement to it.
Jim Currie divides his time
between his busy practice and many teaching commitments.
