'Three in One Concepts' ® Gala Conference'

Charlotte, North Carolina was the location for the 2006 Three in One Concepts ® Gala and its 30th year celebrations. This was my first ever gala, and I was amazed to meet so many ‘3 in 1’ Facilitators from countries as far a field as South Africa, India and Japan. With the exception of Claire Tomlins, my teacher and mentor, I knew no one prior to attending the Gala. However, it wasn’t long before I made friends and felt part of the ‘international community’ of 3 in 1. 

 Gordon Stokes and Daniel Whiteside, the co-founders of Three in One Concepts ®, presented on developments and new insights into the Structure Function traits and the Emotional Barometer. Their charismatic personalities and boundless energy encouraged me and reinforced the message that we are responsible for creating our own realities.  
 
Three in One Concepts ® is focussed on defusing all the obstructions that hold us back in all areas of our lives. Most of the time we function using the Common Integrative Area (CIA) located at the back of the brain which stores past memories and emotions. 3 in 1 works by re-programming the mind so that we are free to make choices. We do this by de-fusing the stressor in age recession and in-fusing a new image of our choice. When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. Hence we create our reality. 

To quote Daniel Whiteside 

“We are never more delighted and alive than when pursuing our passion in life” 

Of course it wasn’t all hard work with lectures and workshops. There was plenty of time to socialise and get to know one another and share our experiences. We even had time to practice and perform a song of thanksgiving in Japanese! 

I found the whole experience uplifting and inspiring and it re-affirmed my commitment to helping others through Three in One Concepts ®. My email address book is packed with new contacts with whom I intend to keep in touch. Failing that, there’s always next year’s gala in San Diego, California.  :-)
