‘Three in One Concepts ® Gala’
30th Year Anniversary Celebrations

by Claire Tomlins - Faculty ‘Three in One Concepts' ®

Many people from all over the world attended the Three in One Concepts ® International Gala in North Carolina, USA in May 2006. Facilitators, Specialized Trainers and Faculty members from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, UK and USA to name a few.

There were simultaneous translations in French, German and Japanese. In all, 35 countries were represented and there was an exciting buzz of energy as people were meeting and exchanging ideas. It was very stimulating.

In being at the Gala it was clear that Three in One Concepts® is a world leading system in health, well being and optimising our potential.

This was confirmed by the presence of ‘CNN Television’ to interview Gordon Stokes & Daniel Whiteside the Founders and Co-creators of ‘3 in 1’.

The 2006 Gala Conference was a celebration of the past 30 years, the achievements so far and also a vision of the future with a presentation of developments to come

So why is ‘Three in One Concepts®’ so popular?

There are many features, which make ‘3 in 1’ a world-renowned system.

The ‘3 in 1’ refers to the oneness of Body, Mind and Spirit and the system recognises the individual as the true authority for authentic information in relation to choices in their life. We work with the person’s belief system, which has the most powerful effect in engaging the body’s innate healing, as Daniel Whiteside says:

“Change the belief system and you change the performance of the person”

The system is interested in the ‘cause’ of problems rather than ‘effects’ or ‘symptoms’ so the system is holistic in the broadest sense and is not mechanical or reductionist.

There is an emphasis on educating the client as to the reasons why they may have developed patterns of illness, allergies, limitation, etc. Yes, of course, we defuse all of these, but if we merely take away their symptoms without helping them to be aware of the reasons that brought this problem about in the first place have we really done our best for them? It is possible that without increased awareness the problem may just come back or they may develop some other problem. As writer George Santayana said:

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”

It could be said that those who are not aware of what they did (consciously or unconsciously) to cause their problems are condemned to repeat them.

Three in One Concepts ® also places emphasis on making the client aware of their power of choice as much dis-ease and unhappiness is caused by the person failing to make appropriate choices. Another important part of our work is to help the client realise just how powerful they are in bringing about their recovery, we also re-affirm their power and help them recognise that although we facilitate the process it is their responsibility to get better.

In talking with many Facilitators, Specialized Trainers and Faculty members from different corners of the globe it appears the real essence of the success is the ‘3 in 1’ ethos of gentleness and acceptance of the individual. This together with the skills, attunement and presence of the facilitator when working with the client are integral principles that underpin its philosophy.

Three in One Concepts ® avoids overly complex systems because experience indicates they can become a distraction and the person can be forgotten in the process. Where techniques are used in ‘3 in 1’ they have never to be a diversion from the essential goal of gently balancing their energy systems and bringing them to a greater awareness of the potency of their conscious choice. Yes, the techniques do have a positive influence upon DNA/RNA, neurotransmitters, endocrine system, hormones, etc (Gordon indicated that imbalances in neurological and physiological systems are often effects rather than causes in themselves), however, our balancing intention focuses on the person and how their ‘body’ guides us to what needs to be done to activate the greatest healing power that there is …..the essential power within.

During the conference Gordon Stokes & Daniel Whiteside presented wonderful programmes, demonstrations and updated us on a number of new developments.

Some developments announced at the Gala will have a wide reaching effect, such as the:

- Setting up of a Board of Directors.
- Setting up of an Advisory Board.
- Exciting new programmes and developments within Three in One Concepts ®.
- Simplification of the training process, to make it easier to become a 'Three in One Concepts' ® trainer.

However, the Gala wasn’t all presentations - we ate, we sang, we danced, …. It was so much FUN meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world.

With thousands of ‘3 in 1 Facilitators’ throughout the world it is clear that in the UK we have a bit of catching up to do….. to bring UK to the level of other countries (such as Japan and Germany) the UK would need to have the equivalent of 100 instructors!

All courses up to and including ‘Instructor Training’ are now available in the UK for the first time, this makes training much more accessible and economical. So anyone out there who is interested, please do contact me.

So here’s to the next 30 years of
Three in One Concepts ®, with thanks and appreciation to Gordon & Daniel for their research, insight, wisdom, experience and their willingness to share this wonderful work with the world.

Happy days!
