Class sessions are scheduled at weekends approximately every five weeks, dates of course modules will be issued approximately 6 months in advance. Occasionally, it may be necessary to attend class sessions during the week, in this event as much advance notice as possible will be given.
At the end of each training session homework will be given in the form of a written assessment in addition to the practice of specific techniques.

Harmony Kinesiology College offers practice sessions to students who wish to develop their skills. Students training to be professional are requested to attend a minimum of one supervised practice defusion session per month.
These sessions are a very important part of professional training and detailed records of these practice balance sessions should be carefully filed as these will form case studies for internal assessment and future external verification by Kinesiology Federation Assessor and Moderator.

All students are expected to conduct themselves responsibly and to behave in a professional manner in compliance with Harmony Kinesiology College rules. Courtesy should be extended to all teachers and students alike, aggressive, antisocial, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Students will be asked to leave and their training terminated if they disrupt the harmonious learning environment of other students.

Individuals failing to abide by the above code of behaviour will be subject to College disciplinary procedure and may be expelled from the course module and excluded from future sessions.

Students are insured through College insurance policy for defusions on fellow students at Harmony Kinesiology College. It is a requirement of training that students have Student Membership and Student Insurance with the Kinesiology Federation in order to be insured to work with members of the public as part of professional training.
